What is RESET® for Projects?

The RESET Standards, tools, and services are unique from other building and certification programs. RESET is non-prescriptive and is not made up of checklists or mandatory pathways. Instead, RESET prioritizes operational results through continuous monitoring.

RESET codifies monitoring methods and data collection methodologies but the Standards can be tailored to each project depending on individual needs and goals.

Applying the RESET Embodied Standard

RESET® Embodied Materials | Project-level Assessments and Certification

The RESET Embodied Standard is a data-driven standard for evaluating and scoring the carbon, circularity, and health performance of building materials and products in projects. RESET Embodied Standard is currently in Active Pilot Phase and is an update to the RESET Standard. Learn more about the RESET Standard Development and Update process.

This RESET Initiative is reserved to actual practitioners and will require project owners or product manufacturers to bring a real project for assessment and certification.

Submit a Pilot Project

Circularity_Icon_White - Edited CIRCULARITY

Total circularity accounting for products and projects, including source of life (SOL) and end of life (EOL).

Carbon_Icon_White - Edited (1)  CARBON

Accounting for carbon emissions from building material sourcing, transportation and construction.

Health_Icon_White - Edited  HEALTH

Accounting for health based on chemical ingredients and chemical off-gassing.
